At Ugly Duck Preserves we believe that food should not be wasted and we therefor source our fresh products directly from farms and private gardens, gathering up their surplus bumper-crops. We also rescue fresh fruit and vegetables that were rejected by shops and supermarket chains because of their non-standard size, shape or colour. To us, taste and freshness of our ingredients are the only qualities that matter, odd shapes and sizes don’t.

At Ugly Duck Preserves we only ever use 100% Australian grown produce. All our products are cooked from scratch in small batches. We don’t add any nasties, no preservatives, no artificial colours or flavours. All our preserves are vegan friendly and also gluten free. We also take great pride in the fact that all our jams, marmalades, jellies and pastes are made without the addition of commercial pectin!
